ARTIST STATEMENT
Taking inspiration from nature, as an artist I focus on modernizing traditional subjects through style and/or composition. Ideas stem from memory, personal photos, and everyday life.
Using nature as an underlying theme results in imagery that marks a memory, or simply a beautiful form that cannot be manmade. My portfolio reflects experimentation with various painting techniques and mediums.
